Suellen Primost

I am a seasoned cellist with extensive recording and performance
experience. Classically trained, I am also able to improvise fluently and
generate expressive soundscapes with the cello. I work as a soloist, play
with chamber and world music ensembles, and collaborate with gifted
multimedia artists including dancers, actors and poets.

I have served as Principal Cellist with the Taos Chamber Symphony,
Bay Area Chamber Symphony, and perform regularly with The Espiritu
Ensembles and Mori Achen Trio. From 2002-09, I served as Music Director for Artship Ensemble, a San Francisco based, internationally recognized dance theatre.
